I'm Marci McGurr.I hope you enjoy visiting the website.I thought I would share a little about myself. My sewing room looks a little like this picture by artist Charles Wysocki.(I Wish)
I've been quilting and designing quilts for about 10 years.I work and teach classes at a quilt shop out of my home in Halifax,MA.

I designed and organized the making of a memorial quilt and was invited to present it to the family members and survivors at a luncheon following the 1996 memorial service in Oklahoma City. I hugged and cried with so many that day!But I'll never forget the little girl who came to the quilt to find the picture of her grandfather so she could kiss him good-bye. We never know how many lives we touch when we quilt with love in our hearts!

This quilt now resides in the archives of the Oklahoma City National Memorial Museum,Oklahoma.
